The certification body of TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH (TÜViT) has certified version 2.0 of the SkIDentity Service according to the "Trusted Cloud Data Protection Profile for Cloud Services" (TCDP) with the highest protection class III. The audit and certification included all contractual regulations relevant to data protection law, the reliable implementation of the necessary technical and organizational measures in accordance with ISO/IEC 27002 or ISO/IEC 27018 and, last but not least, the data protection measures according to ISO/IEC 29100. In particular, all relevant aspects related to the outsourcing of the processing of personally identifiable Information according to the strict German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) are covered by the examination and certification according to TCDP.
